Crockpot Freezer Meals Chicken

crockpot freezer meals

Crockpot Freezer Meals are great. I love being able to pull a meal out of the freezer, put it in the oven or crockpot and not have to slave in the kitchen all day on those busy days when you just don’t have time to cook…or don’t feel like cooking.

Busy Moms need quick, easy solutions for the every day things that we do.

I had done freezer meals before but not quite this way. Crockpot Freezer Meals are so simple and so easy. I am loving my crockpot. Sometimes I think I need to buy an extra just so that I have 2 on hand. There are so many things you can make in a crockpot!

Anyway, on to the Crockpot Freezer Meals. If you haven’t read up on what this is all about, start at my Crockpot Freezer Cooking. Then come back and you can get going on the actual recipes.

This is a set of 4 Chicken recipes. You can combine and do more than 4 in one day if you’d like or just do the 4. I did 12 in one day and it was still super easy. I grouped them by meats for organization and planning. If you’d like to do all 12, you can also do my Crockpot Freezer Meals Hamburger and my Crockpot Freezer Meals Comfort Foods.
Freezer Bag Tips:

When prepping your Crockpot Freezer Meals, get your freezer bags out ahead of time. Write the Meal on the bag and instructions. After adding all ingredients, squeeze out as much air as you can, lay flat to freeze.

Cooking Tips:

You may have to adjust cooking times. I cooked all of the chicken ahead of time so all that is needed is for the meals to thaw out and for the other ingredients to cook. That may not take the time stated. All slow cookers/crockpots are also different so just watch your meals and adjust accordingly. Make sure to also check out my Bulk Cooking Tips.

Awesome post Dawn! I have wanted to do freezer cooking for some time now and just have been to afraid to start. With these crock pot meals though, I think it would be a great beginning step for me! To be perfectly honest…my husband does 99% of the cooking. I do all the baking. I hate for him to come home from a long day of work and then have to turn around and cook a meal. It makes me feel just awful – BUT – to my defense, he still prefers to cook. He loves to cook. I think that using this type of freezer cooking though would help him in the long run to save some time and it’s definitely easy enough for me to tackle. I’m sure he would appreciate the time saved if I can do this for him! THANKS!

When prepping the chicken teriyaki do you add the pineapple WITH or WITHOUT the juice to the bag?

Hello, just recently found your site! My daughter & her husband just brought home a baby boy (my first grandbaby!). I wanted to do something to help out and heard about crockpot freezer meals and thought I’d try it. I did the Zesty Chicken and the Teriyaki Chicken. They said they both turned out yummy and helped them sooo much while adjusting to a new baby. Also, my daughter is breast-feeding and neither of those two meals bothered her or the baby. Thanks!

      Congratulations!!
That’s awesome. I love making these up, freezing them and then having a meal to take to new moms or when families are going through a tough time. Really makes it easy to grab a meal and lend a hand. I’m glad they worked out well for you!

for the chicken and rice soup, when you add the rice–is it cooked or uncooked??

You add the rice uncooked and it will cook in the last 20 minutes. Or you can add the rice in already cooked. I like it the easy way of not having to make the rice separate so I add it in uncooked. You just have to watch how much water you have in the soup because the rice will soak it up. πŸ™‚
