Weight Loss While Traveling

We are going to DISNEY WORLD!!! Yep, we are packing up the 6 of us and heading to Orlando. It’s a good 24 hour drive that we’re hoping to do in 2+ days.

In my last Medifast post, I talked about having a weight loss setback. I’ve already had a set back while traveling so what am I planning to do different for this trip? How can I handle weight loss while traveling?

Weight Loss While Traveling

Well first, we’ll be buying all of our food. No all expense paid trip this time around. More like all expensive trip. That is a huge motivator for staying on plan. If we pack enough Medifast Meals, Tim and I will be able to stay on plan and we’ll only need to buy food for the kids. That will be a huge money saver for us.

Secondly, Medifast Meals are very portable. Our favorites are the ready to drink shakes and the bars. Very easy to take with and eat every couple of hours in the car. Then all we need to fit in is the lean and green meal.

Once down in Orlando, we will be staying for most of the trip in a vacation home. These homes are awesome. They come with a full kitchen so that we can stop at the grocery store and stock the fridge and pantry. Walt Disney World also allows carry ins so we make sure to make sandwiches that the kids can eat right in the park.

So we have a plan in place. Wish us good luck!

I had a tough time staying on plan while traveling too – but also found the bars and the pretzels along with oatmeal to be the easiest to bring with me to stay on track. Good luck and enjoy Disney!
