Spaghetti Squash Noodles – Healthy Alternative to Pasta

Spaghetti Squash Noodles

I’m in my 3rd month of Medifast. It’s actually going fairly well. I have not seen a huge weight loss but I am not gaining and that’s a huge positive. I was on this gaining cycle for so long and just couldn’t stop it. So now I’m working on retraining my body and making healthier choices.

With the Medifast plan, you eat 5 Medifast Meals and 1 Lean and Green Meal. Some days, the Medifast meals are the easy part and that Lean and Green meal is the hard part. You might think it’d be opposite but the Medifast meals are easy, convenient and portable. When you’re busy, it’s a bit harder to make healthy choices.

One of my family’s favorite meals is Spaghetti. Full flavor and lot’s of pasta noodles. But we all know that pasta is full of carbs and not the healthiest option. Especially if you’re trying to maintain or lose weight.

Making the switch from pasta to Spaghetti Squash noodles can be an easy change. Making them is just as easy as making pasta and I think they taste just as good. I had my kids try them last night and while they still love their pasta, they didn’t dislike the spaghetti squash. That’s a win in my book!

    I love spaghetti squash noodles. I can’t get my dh to eat them withme though. I love the lack of carbs. πŸ™‚

    I love Spaghetti Squash! I love the healthy alternative to pasta. Even though I’m not watching my weight, I just love the idea of eating healthier! Plus, I do have family members that are watching what they eat. Perfect supper!

    oh yummy! I love spaghetti squash..i am heading over to check out the recipe. losing weight and eating right has always been a struggle for me. So happy you are winning the battle!
