Paleo Slow Cooker Freezer Meals

Paleo Slow Cooker Freezer Meals

On to my next series of Slow Cooker Freezer Meals – Paleo Slow Cooker Freezer Meals. My husband and I have switched to eating Paleo. It’s not always easy to stick to it so having Paleo friendly slow cooker meals prepared ahead of time. Is awesome. All you have to do is grab from the freezer and add to your slow cooker! I can do that!

As I keep saying…

Busy Moms need quick, easy solutions for the every day things that we do.

Being that these are Paleo friendly, I can serve this meal to my whole family. I can make a great steamed veggie side dish and even make some rice for the kids. Everyone is happy!

If you haven’t read up on what freezer cooking is all about, start at my Slow Cooker Freezer Cooking. Then come back and you can get going on the actual recipes.

This is a set of 4 Chicken Slow Cooker Freezer Meals. You can grab recipes from my other posts and do more than 4 in one day if you’d like or just do the 4. You can find my other Freezer Meals in my cooking category.

Freezer Bag Tips:

When prepping your Crockpot Freezer Cooking Meals, get your freezer bags out ahead of time. Write the Meal on the bag and instructions. After adding all ingredients, squeeze out as much air as you can, lay flat to freeze.

Cooking Tips:

You may have to adjust cooking times. All slow cookers vary and depending on how long you thaw the freezer bag before hand (all instructions say to thaw slightly) you just need to watch your cooking time. Make sure to also check out my Bulk Cooking Tips. Especially for the Hamburger series, bulk cooking the hamburger is a must!

For these chicken recipes, I’m going to use all frozen chicken breasts.

Is there an alternative to the soy sauce in the cashew chicken recipe? Soy sauce is a no-no on the paleo diet.

oooh yes, sorry! Soy Sauce is high in salt. You can use coconut alminos in stead of the soy sauce. I’ll update that in the recipe. 🙂

I used both frozen cooked and frozen raw before. Frozen raw is a bit better because then it doesn’t dry out when it goes in the crock pot to cook more.

I don’t really understand paleo, but when I looked it up, it said to avoid dairy and fruits, along with nuts and grains,(and I know there’s other things regarding the meat) so I don’t understand how Cashew anything is on a paleo diet. Coconut, tomatoes and pineapple are considered fruits. I suppose tomatoes could be considered a vegetable by some. Coconut is also considered a nut by some. it’s all very confusing.

Yes, it can be very confusing. There are a lot of different versions of Paleo. The biggest is just going to be cutting out dairy, sugar and starches. Yes, there is sugar in fruit but it’s natural sugar.

We love our slow cooker! Even when there’s barely anything left in the house, my boyfriend is able to throw some ingredients together and make surprisingly delicious soups and stews!
