Crockpot Freezer Cooking

On to my next series of Crockpot Freezer Meals. I am loving freezer cooking. And crockpot freezer cooking is amazing. Bulk cooking the meats, putting all of the ingredients in a ziploc freezer bag and having everything prepped ahead of time is the best thing ever! As I keep saying…

Busy Moms need quick, easy solutions for the every day things that we do.

That’s what this is for me. I love it! Not only for my family but it’s also great for when you’d like to help out a friend with a meal. With the instructions are already on the bag, all you need to do is pull out a meal from the freezer and drop it off. So perfect!

If you haven’t read up on what this is all about, start at my Crockpot Freezer Cooking. Then come back and you can get going on the actual recipes.

This is my second set of Hamburger Crockpot Freezer Cooking Meals. You can combine and do more than 4 in one day if you’d like or just do the 4. This last set, I did 12 in one day and it was super easy. I grouped them by meats for organization and planning. You can find my other Freezer Meals in my cooking category.

Freezer Bag Tips:

When prepping your Crockpot Freezer Cooking Meals, get your freezer bags out ahead of time. Write the Meal on the bag and instructions. After adding all ingredients, squeeze out as much air as you can, lay flat to freeze.

Cooking Tips:

You may have to adjust cooking times. All crockpots vary and depending on how long you thaw the freezer bag before hand (all instructions say to thaw slightly) you just need to watch your cooking time. Make sure to also check out my Bulk Cooking Tips. Especially for the Hamburger series, bulk cooking the hamburger is a must!

Thanks for all of these recipes and ideas. I think freezer cooking like this will definitely help us out anytime of year but with spring and summer on the way, we’ll probably get more use out of it! We have a lot of acreage to mow/weed eat so we tend to be worn out by supper time πŸ˜‰ It’ll be nice to just pull a bag out of the freezer and throw together a great meal!

I’m a huge fan of cooking in the Slow Cooker. I’ve printed and pinned all the recipes from your series and I’ll be going grocery shopping over the weekend to prepare my own freezer meals. Thank you so much for taking all the guess-work out of freezer cooking for us!

Scant means “just barely.” In cooking, scant refers to an amount that’s just barely reaching the top. So a little less than 4 cups. πŸ™‚
