What are your favorite shows on Television right now? We have our DVR set to record quite a few. Some of our favorites include The Middle, Grey’s Anatomy, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and a new favorite Trophy Wife.

While in LA for an amazing press trip, we attended a “Moms of ABC” reception. We got to just ‘hang out’ with a few of the great actresses who play Moms on TV. Most of them are actually Moms in real life too.

Let me tell you, these ladies are amazing! I loved talking to them all about everyday things. How they balance work and family.

One of my all time favorites is Patricia Heaton. She’s wonderful. I’ve loved her since Everybody Loves Raymond and she’s just as awesome as Frankie in The Middle. That is definitely one of our favorite shows. Patricia is great. She was very laid back. We chatted about kids, homeschooling, etc. She actually doesn’t home school but there were 2 of us home schoolers at the table while chatting with Patty.

Another one of my favorites is definitely Ming-Na Wen. She was so fun to chat with. Our family loves Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. Her character Melinda May certainly kicks some major butt. Although I’ve loved Ming-Na since her days on ER. Any other ER fans? And of course, who doesn’t love Mulan!

Two of my new favorites are Malin Ackerman and Jami Gertz. These ladies were so great! While I was a little nervous to meet them and chat with them, they were just so awesome. Truly made us feel comfortable. They are just moms like the rest of us that are juggling work, home and our families.

I also have a post on Malin Ackerman and her role in Trophy Wife. Make sure to read up on that too. Such a funny show. I have to be honest though, I have not had a chance to check out the Neighbors. Jamie Gertz is awesome though so it definitely makes me want to tune in.

All of the Moms of ABC were really great! It was so awesome to just sit back relax and chat with each of them.
