THE MIDDLE Set
I can not even begin to tell you how excited I was to be on The Middle Set. It was absolutely amazing! We are big fans of The Middle in our house. We always watch the episodes as a family. We all enjoy the show so much. Partly because the Heck family is like our family on steroids. There are a lot of things that reminds us of our own family.
If you have not watched The Middle, I definitely recommend that you do. It is a great sitcom with some incredible actors. The Middle is now in it’s 5th season so go back and watch from the beginning.
Most of my post will be all pictures. If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll definitely recognize the set. I was amazed at the detail of the set. I think a family could actually live there – maybe one does even. The house is so ‘lived’ in and I think might be a house that you’d find in middle America right down to the dirty hand prints that you’d find on the walls. Does your house have those? Mine sure does!
Frankie is a mom trying to just keep up day to day. And like most of us, she’s having a hard time doing it. The laundry goes undone, the living room has clothing strewn all over, the mail is left out, etc. With everything that we juggle as parents it’s not always easy to keep up.
I loved talking with the site decorator. She finds things in stores like Target and buys them for the Heck house. It was also amazing how much detail they put into everything – right down to the actual address that is on the mail.
If you have seen The Middle, you might recognize the hole in the wall in Sue’s room. Do you remember that episode? I loved seeing the different things in the rooms that reminded me of specific episodes.
We even had special visitors that came on the set while we were there. I honestly felt like I was visiting them in the Heck house vs. on the set of The Middle.
It was so cool to experience The Middle Set visit. I added additional pics below. Just click on one and it should take you to the gallery where you can go through them.
Make sure you tune into The Middle (Wednesdays 8/7c) and catch up if you haven’t watched it yet.
