Teach Your Kids Spanish with Little Pim

October 11, 2013 by Dawn Filed Under: Reviews 1 Comment

Disclosure: I received product from Little Pim in order to facilitate a review. All opinions are my own.

Would you like to Teach Your Kids Spanish?

Studies say that young children are so much more apt to pick up a foreign language. Kids are like little sponges. The earlier we introduce a foreign language to them, the more it sticks. I didn’t take Spanish until I was in high school. I actually took 2 years of it and I can’t say that I remember much. Not even enough to get my by while I was in Mexico.

Take a look at what Little Pim has to say:

Teaching your child a foreign language is no longer a luxury–it’s become a necessity. It contributes to a young child’s cognitive development and also offers an advantage in the future of our global marketplace. Little Pim is specifically designed to teach kids foreign languages at the age they learn best: birth to age 6.

Several studies prove that children are uniquely and temporarily primed to acquire up to three languages before the age of six with ease. After this early learning window, the brain’s plasticity diminishes dramatically.

Can you believe that? Children are “primed to acquire up to three languages before the age of six with ease.” That’s mind blowing to me. Although I really shouldn’t be surprised because the older I get, the harder my brain has to work to even remember yesterday. 😉

Little Pim teaches foreign language in a way that is exciting to kids and increases their chances of absorbing it.

Little Pim offers several different languages. We tried out the Spanish Discovery set:

The Spanish Discovery Set opens the door to over 180 basic words and phrases. With this introduction to Spanish, your little one will be asking for agua instead of water before you know it!

Our Spanish Discovery Set includes:

Three (3) videos: Eating and Drinking; Wake Up Smiling; Playtime (digital or DVD)
Plush Little Pim toy
Little Pim poster

Starring Little Pim, the lovable panda bear, each video will captivate your child with its combination of animation and real kids.

Each video contains 7 episodes, broken into short 5-minute intervals to keep your child engaged. Your little one will love cuddling with their very own Little Pim plush panda as they watch all 21 episodes together!

Videos available as DVDs, digital downloads, or both, so your little one can start learning Spanish right away! Select the set you’d like.

I love the way Little Pim has put this together. It’s fun, exciting and has great vivid colors to keep the kids interested.

Make sure you check out Little Pim if you’re looking to teach your kids Spanish or any other foreign language. Would also make a great gift for the Holidays! You can find Little Pim Spanish, Chinese, and French Discovery Sets in Toys R Us stores nationwide. If you prefer to shop online, you can also get 20% Off all product on the Little Pim website with the promo code: LPHOLIDAY.

Little Pim is also hoping to launch an exciting ebook for the Holidays! They have started a KickStarter to reach their goal.

Little Pim the panda will visit his friends in Mexico, China, Brazil, and France in this colorful holiday ebook! A great holiday gift.

Over the past 5 years, Little Pim has loved helping young children learn their first words in a second language. Now we’re getting ready to send our beloved panda teacher, Little Pim, on a special holiday adventure! We want to make a holiday ebook that gets kids excited about discovering new cultures by introducing them to holiday traditions all over the world.

Find out more about this great project and how you can be involved in the Little Pim ebook here.
