I just got back from an amazing trip to LA. Disney and ABC invited me to a press junkets for some awesome movies and TV shows. I’ll be writing a lot about the trip so continue to check back or sign up for the Blogging Mom of 4 newsletter so you know when new posts come out.
Part of the event was for the Muppets Most Wanted Premiere. Actual red carpet type stuff! It was amazing. I can’t say that I walked the same red carpet path that the celebs did but I did walk on a red carpet NEXT to them. 😉
No matter which red carpet I was on, I required a great dress. I have an incredibly hard shape to fit. I have the ‘pear’ shape. My fellow pears understand my frustration. I don’t own many dresses for this very reason. Nothing ever fits right.
I had the opportunity to review a custom dress from Abbey Post. I was super excited to try it because they actually do custom make the dress to my measurements. All I did was pick out the style of dress that I wanted and then send them my specific measurements.
Seeing as I was going to the Muppets Most Wanted Premiere, I decided to get a bright fun color. The dress arrived and fit perfectly. I was so overjoyed. And again, I think my fellow pears would understand. I never feel confident in a dress but this one I did. I was super excited to wear it to the premiere.
