As I get older, the condition of my hair has changed. It’s now frizzy and even coarse. Of course I have those ‘lovely’ grays that I try to cover up and hide. Keeping up with constant hair coloring has left my hair damaged.
There are several ways you can handle the damage caused by frizzy or thinning hair. One is to consider a hair transplant cost, the other is to experiment with the Living Proof line.
Living Proof PhD Line
I received the Living Proof products to try out. I wanted to take a before picture. (See below). When I looked at that before picture, I immediately went to the salon.
Wowza, I had no idea my hair was that many colors. To correct all of that craziness, we had to lift off the old color and basically start over with fresh color.
If you’ve ever had color lifted, you know I mean “bleached.” And bleaching does not leave your hair in great condition. My hair felt like straw afterwards.
The next morning I used the Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment. Then today I used the Shampoo, Conditioner and5-in-1 Styling Treatment. Already my hair is in better condition!
The new PhD (Perfect hair Day) line (shampoo, conditioner, and 5-in-1 Styling Treatment) treats your hair and offer smoothness, volume, conditioning, strength, and polish all in one set.
I love how the PhD shampoo and conditioner keep my hair cleaner which reduces the need to wash my hair as often. That’s a huge time saver but is also better for my hair to not wash so often. Plus these products are sulfate-free, oil-free and silicone-free.
It’s recommended to blow dry your hair after applying the5-in-1 Styling Treatment. Doing so will create smoothness, volume, strength, conditioning, and polish as well as heat protection, UV protection, and static control. This is oil-free and silicone-free.
More about Living Proof:
Living Proof was founded by world-class scientists in Cambridge, MA. They discovered two proprietary ingredients that have never before been used in beauty: with a healthy hair molecule called OFPMA.
In October 2012, Actress Jennifer Aniston joined Living Proof as co-owner and hair care spokesperson.
Jennifer says, “What caught my attention about Living Proof is the company’s unique approach to hair care—using scientific technologies to offer women actual proof in a bottle rather than hoping for results.”
