Mighty Leaf Tea – Great Herbal Tea for the Holiday

November 7, 2014 by Dawn Filed Under: Gift Guide, Reviews 36 Comments

Disclosure: I received products from Mighty Leaf Tea for review purposes only. Regardless all opinions are my own. #2014HGG @mightyleaf

Mighty Leaf Tea is part of our Holiday Gift Guide this year.

Mighty Leaf Tea – Great Herbal Tea for the Holiday

Mighty Leaf Tea began in 1996 by husband and wife team Gary Shinner and Jill Portman. They founded their very first teahouse in San Francisco, CA with the sole purpose of reaching new heights of quality and innovation. They have created the most incredible handcrafted tea blends with the finest ingredients. Their tea bags are specially created and handcrafted. This is the quality that is Mighty Leaf Tea.

This great herbal tea arrived just in time to soothe this awful cold that I have. There’s nothing better than a warm cup of tea when you’re run down with a cold.

These are the two items that I received for review. They’d make terrific Holiday Gifts this year.

Herbal Tea

Mighty Leaf World Flavors Gift Sampler

Travel the world from your home with Ginger Twist, White Orchard, and Organic Detox Infusion.  White Orchard is a mouthwatering blend of Chinese green and white tea, melon, and peach.  15 pouches of each.  Wrapped with a ribbon.  $30

TeaTop Brew Mug

Our insulated “traveling tea pot” is perfect for enjoying Mighty Leaf whole leaf tea on the go.  Say goodbye to over-steeping!  Pull the string through the patented lid and your tea pouch is in a special holding area, away from your tea.  $16.95

Each of the teas are fantastic. We’ve definitely hit that cold turn of fall and winter so I’m drinking a lot more tea now than I do in the summer. Just so relaxing, warming and soothing. And I LOVE the TeaTop Brew Mug. It’s absolutely perfect for tea. There’s a slot at the top that you can run the tea bag through. Then when it’s done brewing, you pull the bag to the top. The slit helps squeeze out water from the tea bag. It’s a perfect design.

Are you a tea drinker? Do you have a favorite? There is not one Mighty Leaf Tea that I haven’t liked so far but I’d say my favorites are the fruity blends. The special hand-stitched cotton Tea pouches are wonderful. They help make a full flavored cup of Tea.

I am a huge fan of tea! During the Fall/Winter seasons I love curling up with a nice hot cup of tea and relaxing. During the Fall, I usually drink black pumpkin tea and during the Winter season I enjoy drinking gingerbread tea! The Mighty Leaf World Flavors Gift Sampler sounds like the perfect gift for my sister, she loves tea as much as I do! Thanks for sharing 🙂

I have had this tea and it is one of the best tasting teas that I have ever drank. The tea comes in cute bags and it is so healthy because the ingredients are organic.

I’m a tea drinker, but only if I’m congested or really cold. I usually drink vanilla tea with a spoonful of honey.

I love tea. I mainly got into the whole tea drinking thing because I wanted to get away from all of the creamer and artificial sweeteners that I was using with coffee. These days I drink mostly green tea — no sweeteners or anything, just tea. I love it.
