Times have sure changed. With the digital technology, taking and viewing pictures is easy. Most all of us use either a DSLR camera or our phones for everyday picture taking. How many of us actually use the ‘old fashioned’ film anymore? I don’t think my kids even know what film is.

This is so very convenient but it also creates a new problem. In the ‘olden’ days, we’d have to get our film developed in order to have pictures. I always remembered being super excited and couldn’t wait to get them developed. But now a days, you can see them right away. We’re not rushing out to get prints.

Those pictures either stay on our phones or in our computers if we remember to upload them. But then there they sit. What do you do with all the pictures you take?

An easy way to solve this problem? Groovebook!

Groovebook is an app you can download on your phone. It’s a monthly subscription service that only costs $2.99/month. For that $2.99 you get an 4.5 x 6.5 album with 40-100 of your pictures.

All you do is take pictures and upload 40-100 of them into Groovebook each month. Groovebook then sends you out your album and you  have a great memory album.

The albums come with perforated pictures too so that you can take them out, share them, scrapbook with them, etc. The date and location of where you took the picture is also printed. I love that!

You can also choose to gift an album! Super great gift ideas for anyone and everyone that you’d like to share pictures with.

How Groovebook came to be.

The story began when co-founder Julie Whiteman lost thousands of her family photos from her phone. This loss inspired her husband, Brian Whiteman, to start working on a concept to preserve their photos in a tangible way. Soon after Groovebook was born. Brian’s mom saw the impact of Groovebook, and encouraged them to go on the TV show Shark Tank to get investor-backing and national exposure. The investors loved the concept and they struck up a deal. Shutterfly, Inc. welcomed Groovebook as a new addition to their family of brands with a mission to share life’s joy.

Just search for Groovebook in your phone apps to get started!
