Monsters University Premiere
Make sure to check out my post about the Monsters University Tailgate Party.
After Tailgating and having so much fun, it was time to head into the El Capitan Theatre for the Monsters University Premiere. I grabbed my 3D glasses and found my seat. The Theatre is huge and unlike any in my hometown.
The Monsters University Cheerleaders came out to start the show with a cheer and confetti flying.
In the preview before the movie, there was some amazing 3D affects. Plus we got to see “The Blue Umbrella.” Just a short film done by Pixar. So cute!
I’m so excited that I was able to attend the Monsters University Premiere. The movie was fantastic. MU is a prequel to Monsters, Inc. where we get a great look into the past of our favorite characters Mike and Sulley. Mike’s dream has always been to be a Scarer. He has his path all laid out…but things don’t go according to his plan.
Mike and Sulley take us through their college experience. We also get to meet some great new characters. I love Nathan Fillion and while his voice was perfect for the Monster Johnny, I can’t say that I love that he played the “bad guy.” 😉 I don’t want to spoil it for you so I won’t go into any more details. All I will say is that Monsters University is a great movie for all ages. One that I know my kids are going to love.
Have you seen the official MU website? So fun! Will you apply for scare school? I did and even got my student badge!! 😉
Monsters University premieres everywhere on June 21st. Make sure you take the whole family to see it. You won’t be disappointed.
