I received an all expense paid trip to cover the #Cars3Event including Disneyland Summer of Heroes. All opinions are my own.
Have you ever been to Disneyland? It truly is the most magical place on earth. While in California for the #Cars3Event, we were able to spend quite a bit of time at Disneyland to cover the Summer of Heroes.
Super Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy have arrived at Disney California Adventure Park!
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT is now open and I got to ride it!! I absolutely loved the ride! So much fun! This is one that you’ll definitely want to get a fast pass for.
I grabbed a few pictures while going through the queue.
My fellow blogger, Sarah Mock, shot this video. Take a look:
Oh my gosh, so much fun!!! There are SIX different ride profiles you can experience all with different songs from the “mix tape.”
But Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is not all that is happening at Disneyland Summer of Heroes.
Like all Super Heroes, you need the right fuel and training to make it through the day. Power up with Groot-shaped bread, available in sourdough and jalapeno-cheddar flavors, or with The Most Dangerous Tacos in the Galaxy.
Sarah was able to get this awesome video of the different Summer of Heroes foods:
You can also train and perfect your skills with Black Widow and Hawkeye at the Avengers Training Initiative, one of 10 epic moments you’ll experience this summer!
Then, celebrate your training at the “Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Dance Off” with Peter Quill and Gamora.
Be sure to stick around after the dance off incase a special guest stops by!
There’s also the new “Disney Junior Dance Party!” And, of course, visiting Cars Land is a must!
Walk down iconic Route 66 and visit your favorite Radiator Springs residents, Lighting McQueen and Mater. Put your racing skills to the test at Radiator Springs Racers, join the famiglia at Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters or go for a swing at Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.
Learn more about Cars Land and its attractions on the Disneyland Resort website.
Later this summer, some of the classics re-open at Disneyland Park: “Fantasmic!” and the Disneyland Railroad and the Rivers of America attractions.
A visit to Disneyland to experience the Summer of Heroes is a must. I had so much fun and want to come back with the kids. I know they’d love it as much as I did. Let me know in the comments below if you’re planning a trip to see Summer of Heroes!
Oh!! And take advantage of the photo opps around the park and make sure to ask for special magic in your pictures. 😉
