Weight Loss Is Not Easy!

July 21, 2014 by Dawn Filed Under: Weight Loss 3 Comments

Any medical improvements noted while on the program are related to weight loss in general, and not to Medifast products or programs.

Weight Loss is Hard

If Weight Loss was easy, we might all be the ‘perfect’ weight, right? Weight Loss has never been easy for me and I’m green with envy for those that it is.

My first week with Medifast wasn’t all that bad. I was trying out a lot of different foods to see which ones I liked and which ones not so much. I was learning to get my water in and figuring out how to get in 5 Medifast Meals and 1 Lean and Green Meal. With a 5 lb first week weight loss, I call that a success!

Speaking of Lean and Green, I’m enjoying some new recipes. I’ll be posting new Crockpot Freezer Meals soon with what we’ve been eating.

Then week 2 hit. And the extra stressors hit. And the cravings started. I know that I’m an emotional eater. In order for me to really hit my weight loss goal I’m going to have to figure that out. While I didn’t fall completely off the diet truck, I was trying to ‘fix’ my bad day with food.

It’s going to be hugely important for me to figure out what else I can do when those bad days happen. What do you do when you have a bad day or extra stressors?

It’s a work in progress that’s for sure. I’m only going into week 3. I know that this weight gain did not  happen overnight so I can’t expect the loss to happen over night either. I’ll get there.

Now having said all of that, I still added an additional 2 lb weight loss so I’m now down 7 lbs total. I’ll take it!

I’d love your support and comments below. Keep following me and Review Dad through our Medifast Weight Loss Journey!
