Spicy Gameday Guac – Great Recipe for Any Party or Get Together

January 25, 2014 by Dawn Filed Under: Cooking 8 Comments

While at the grocery store the other day, I tried a sample of this Spicy Gameday Guac. It was so good that I went home with all of the ingredients to make it. I’m not usually a huge fan of the Avocado but this recipe is so yummy that I had to make it. Yes, it was one of those impulse purchases but a good one. 😉

The Spicy Gameday Guac recipe was handed out in the store with the sample. I actually didn’t make it exactly as suggested. I’m not a huge fan of hot sauce so I did not add that into my recipe. However, I’ll list it in the recipe in case you want to kick up your Spicy Gameday Guac.

Spicy Gameday Guac

Ingredients

1 Avocado
1/4 C salsa
1 tsp Bottled Hot Sauce
1 tbsp lime juice

Directions

Halve, pit, peel and coarsely mash fresh avocado. Stir in hot sauce, lime juice and salsa. Serve with tortilla chips.

In the store, they served the Spicy Gameday Guac with Mission Tortilla Strips. They were very good. I love how this chip is a bit thicker and better for scooping. But any tortilla chip will do. Grab a big basket of chips and dig in.

This is a great dip to make for big parties, ie: a big Super Bowl party. Do you have plans to attend any Super Bowl parties this year? Or maybe you’re hosting? This one should definitely be a hit. My kids even like it. That’s always a plus.

Which team will you be rooting for this year? No matter the team, this is a great recipe to eat watching the Super Bowl, just the commercials, or maybe the puppy bowl. 😉

Make sure you stop by my cooking category and check out my other recipes too.

Hope you like the Spicy Gameday Guac!
