As technology changes and keeps growing, the way we communicate, advertise and do business must also change. That is if we’re going to keep up. Those of us that have had or do have a brick and mortar store know what it’s like to try to get customers to try to come through our front doors.
Now with the online world, we face a new “issue” – getting people through our virtual front doors. How do we do this? That’s the big world of Social Media.
Dictionary.com defines Social Media as:
That part that is highlighted is the important part. If businesses want to stay in business, we have to try to get a piece of the pie. Figuring out all there is with Social Media can be confusing and an up hill battle. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, Linkedin, StumbleUpon, and the list goes on. Did I lose you already? No worries. That’s where I come in!
I have experience running my own business as well as an online business. I started my first blog back in April of 2011. In that time, I have been able to use Social Media to grow my Brand into what it is today. I now have over 50,000 readers between all of my sites and Social Media sources. Being the Project Manager for Madame Deals Media also gives me a great resource to partner and team up with 100s of other bloggers.
