Did you see Maleficent while it was in the theaters? If you haven’t seen it or you’re already a fan, you can pick up the Blu-Ray DVD tomorrow!!

Let’s talk first about the movie. I was able to see the DVD version before I went out to Los Angeles to cover the event. I hadn’t gotten to see it in the theaters so this was my first time watching it.

I’m a big fan of the classic Disney Princess movies so watching Maleficent was a bit different for me. I kept saying throughout the movie, this isn’t how the story goes. Well that’s the point. This is a different version of Sleeping Beauty. Do not go into it thinking that this is just the story retold.

Now having said that, Maleficent is terrific! Yes, it was different than the classic Sleeping Beauty and it is a great movie. You find out Maleficent’s back story and so much more!
