Living the #GoodLife

May 29, 2013 by Dawn Filed Under: Living Life Leave a Comment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Allstate for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love the Allstate Good Life commercials. We really are living a good life and I love the message that you’re in good hands for the good life. When we think of insurance coverage, most of the time we think of the bad things that happen that make us need that insurance. But what a great way to view it… insurance is protecting that good life.

Allstate’s “Good Hands for the Good Life” is new and different for an insurance company. It has a voice of optimism and celebration vs. fear. The Allstate brand commercial tells the story of how there are risks everywhere, but we as people don’t let it hold us back from making our lives good. Allstate is an insurance company who works everyday to help build more good in the lives of their customers.

Allstate believes that the notion of the Good Life is inherently social; it is already taking place in people’s natural social conversations and now Allstate has permission to join in because they are an insurance company who creates more good vs. take care of the bad.

Take a look at this incredible video:

I just love the message. And it’s so true. Fear and doubt should not keep us from living the good life! My youngest daugter was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease over 4 years ago. That was a really hard time for our family. She suffered a lot and was in the hospital a lot. This situation could have really broke our family. But we didn’t let it. Now, 4 years later, she’s a happy little girl living her life the best she can with Crohn’s Disease. She’s not letting it stop her!

I bet we all have some good life stories. What are yours? I’d love to hear about them…comment below.
