Lay n Go Large Activity Mat Review

March 31, 2013 by Dawn Filed Under: Reviews 4 Comments

Disclosure: I was provided the Lay n Go for review purposes only. All opinions are my own.

I saw the Lay n Go activity Mat and fell instantly in love!!

I’m sure I am not the only mom with a toy problem. We live in a day where our children have no shortage of toys. Is that the case in your house? I’m not sure if it’s because we want to give our children everything that we didn’t have growing up or if it’s that there’s just so much more available? Or maybe a combination of both? All I know is that we have toys, toys and more toys. And no matter how many times we clean up, purge, get rid of, donate, we still have more.

I’ve tried designating toy rooms for them, keeping them in their bedrooms but yet my house is still full of toys. Every room…crawling with toys! Granted, I’d rather have my kids here with their toys then gone but I need a solution for easy clean up.

Busy moms need great solutions for the every day things that we do!

Right?

That includes clean up time!

Lay n Go

Lay n Go Large Activity Mat Blue 5 foot diameter

Lay n Go (patent pending) is a 5 foot diameter activity mat that converts into an easily transportable shoulder satchel allowing for quick and effortless clean-up of small toy pieces. Toy collections used on the Lay n Go surface are easily spread out (no dumping needed) for hours of fun. Once playtime is over, the drawstring is pulled and the activity mat is converted back into a completely sealed soft storage bag. Lay n Go is a smart and easy activity mat, cleanup, storage and carry-all solution in one.

  • Shell: 420 Denier Poly to last for generations
  • Lining: 100% Nylon which is confortable to play on for hours yet provides a tough and water repellent wipeable surface
  • Available in blue, green or pink nylon
  • Four mesh 7”x 6” pockets on the playside surface provide a great way to stash and organize the most valued mini-figures or extra special pieces
  • Durable nylon cord and cord lock provide an easy opening and closing system which keeps toys securely inside
  • A velcroed front storage pocket provides a place to stow the drawstring when closing or carrying the bag
  • Wide nylon shoulder strap adds both comfort and convenience for carrying

I love, love, love the Lay n Go! I took my girls room…piled up all the toys that were on their floor (it happened to be all of their Lego Friends houses and accessories) and put them in the Lay n Go…cinched it up and viola their room was clean!! Easiest, fastest room cleaning ever! Hung the Lay n Go on the bed post and I was done. Next time the girls want to play, all they have to do is un-cinch and lay it out. Or if they want to take all their Lego Friends to Grandma’s, they just grab the Lay n Go and they’re on their way.

You just must try this. You will be in love too!! (they have other sizes too…even one for our cosmetics!!)

That mat looks pretty cool. I will have to let my boss lady know about this. Her son loves legos and she complains about toys all the time. Thanks for sharing.

This is a really neat idea. It’s too bad that it’s made in China. I wish they would have found a way to produce it here in the US.
