Have you seen any of the previews for Disneynature’s Bears? I always love the films that Disneynature puts out. They are absolutely incredible.
While on a Disney press trip in LA, we actually got to screen Disneynature’s Bears (which opens THIS Friday). It was so cute! I’m always so amazed at how they are able to film animals in the wild. It’s just so incredible to see the shots they get and what they need to do to make the film. But.. I’ll get to more on the actual film review by end of the week.
LA Zoo
To celebrate Disneynature’s Bears, our blogger group took a visit to the LA Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Let me tell you, what a fantastic zoo they have there. I probably loved it even more since the weather was absolutely gorgeous and back home here, we still had snow. 😉 If you’re in or around the LA area, you must take in a trip to the LA Zoo.
When we screened Bears, we got a little bear cub in our goodie bags. I got Scout. He’s pretty darn adorable (and actually now belongs to my daughter). Scout came with us on our tour of the LA Zoo.
These plush bears are pretty special. Scout enjoyed his trip to the LA Zoo. He met great animals like Dolly the Condor, Ranger the bear and Rhonda the Rhino.
Before I show you everything that Scout and I got to see at the Zoo, I want to share about what Disney is donating for every plush sold. The Disney Store will contribute $1 to the NATIONAL PARK FOUNDATION for every BEARS plush purchased between now and 5/11/14. You can get yours here:

I also got this quick little video of this noisy thing! 😉 He’s a Siamang.
