Space Saving Garden Projects

Are you doing any fun garden projects this year? I planted some veggies in my grow box. Our spring was super late getting here so I had to buy some plants vs. planting seeds. But so far they are doing great and it’s working out better than last year when I planted seeds.

Now if you’re thinking you don’t have space for a garden, you might consider vertical gardening. I love this idea. It lets me have a garden without the space and huge commitment. It’s all in one area which makes it easier for me to take care of. And you can still grow plenty in your vertical planter. Look at this amazing Garden Tower® full of amazing vegetables!

I find gardening a fun new project for me. This is only the 2nd year that I have planted. I’m no green thumb or very creative with projects so it’s great for me to be able to see other garden projects and attempt them than trying to create my own from scratch.

Another space saving idea is a garden grow box or raised garden bed. Also easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of yard space. I love the idea but I have to get creative in keeping my dogs out of it and keep them from digging. They see open dirt and it’s game on!

If you’re a gardening novice, like me, Miracle-Gro has some great gardening basics and some great products for a great garden. This LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food Advance Starter Kit and Indoor/container: Shake n’ Feed Moisture Control All Purpose Plant Food and Moisture Control Potting Mix looks super easy to use.

Incorporating ducks into your garden projects can bring both charm and utility. Ducks naturally control pests, help aerate the soil, and even provide nutrient-rich manure for your plants. Plus, their playful presence adds life and movement, making your garden a delightful and eco-friendly haven.

I have not been super successful at gardening so far but I do like to try. And I found that the kids really like helping too. This year, I let them each pick their own vegetable to plant. They loved it! And I think it just tastes better when it comes from your own garden. Would you agree?

Are you a novice or an expert gardener? Do you have a green thumb? What are your gardening tips and tricks? Comment below and let me know. I’m definitely a novice and can use all the helpful tips, project ideas, grow boxes, vertical planters, etc that I can get.
