Mother’s Day Flowers
When I was growing up we used to make hand prints in clay or paint and make homemade cards for my Mom. Now, I send her flowers and enjoy a Mother’s Day lunch or dinner with her. My kids enjoy making me special Mother’s Day Cards and my husband usually takes me to lunch. Ever since we started having children, he also buys me fresh flowers on Mother’s Day.
I adore the handmade cards that my children make me each year. I’ll treasure them because my children were thinking of me while they were creating their special card. My Mom tells me that she loved the handmade cards I used to make her when I was young, but that she enjoys the beauty of the fresh flowers that I send her now.
