With a family of 6, we’re bound to go through a lot of shoes. Four growing kids and some going through some definite growth spurts, leaves us buying shoes constantly. It seems like I buy shoes, get them home and they’ve already outgrown them. Oh and 2 of my kids are girls. Fashionista girls who LOVE shoes! 😉

Famous Footwear Shopping Spree

I was incredibly lucky and won a $500 gift card for Famous Footwear while at the Blissdom Conference I attended in March. I was ecstatic! I knew we’d be able to get quite a few pair of shoes with $500. The kids were pretty excited too! I am a frequent Famous Footwear shopper normally so having $500 to spend there is awesome!

This gift card was burning a hole in our pockets so we headed off to have our Famous Footwear Shopping Spree!

Famous Footwear is a one stop shop for us.

They have shoes for our entire family and something for every season. I always stop there when we need shoes. You can find what you need for everyone and at great prices!

I let the kids just pick out whatever they want, try on whatever they want and just have fun. I still wanted to make the gift card stretch as far as we could though so I tried to look for great sale prices, shoes on clearance, etc. We also had a 20% off coupon so I saved a bundle!! My husband and my oldest were not with us on this trip so they did not get shoes but there’s still plenty left on that gift card for them.

We ended up with 10 pair of shoes, (2) 3 pk socks and a 2 pk of heel liners…with the great sale prices and my 20% coupon, it all came to just over $250. Crazy good for NAME brand shoes!! My son was thrilled to have expensive Nike tennis shoes, my youngest got ballerina Skeckers and sandals and my oldest daughter had the greatest haul. I think she ended up with 4 or 5 pair of shoes. She knew to shop the clearance rack. 😉
