I love spending time at the beach. To be able to just lay around and soack up the sun, sounds amazing! Especially when it's freezing cold here. Puerto Rico has 270 miles of coastline and was featured in the Top 10 beaches from Travel Channel. Flamenco Beach in Culebra, is actually often cited as one of the best beaches in the world. Now that's some place I'd like to visit.
I don't like to sit still for the whole vacation though. I also like to explore. Along with beautiful beaches, Puerto Rico also has the only rainforest under US national park service, El Yunque. If you're a history buff, head out and enjoy the old world charm of San Juan.
If you'd like even more adventure, you can enjoy horse back riding or the magnificent Camuy caverns that run through the 3rd largest subterranean river in the world. Sounds amazing!
