Taking Care of our Dogs with a Dog Joint Supplement

September 23, 2014 by Dawn Filed Under: Gift Guide, Pets, Reviews 11 Comments

Disclosure: I received Dog Joint Supplement – Wag Lifetime Joint Care for review purposes only. All opinions are my own. Dog Joint Supplement, Glucosamine for Dogs, Dog Arthritis, Dog Joint Pain #PetResearch

Do you have pets that are members of your family? We do. We have two doggies and one cat. We love them. They are definitely considered members of our family. They love us unconditionally and are always happy to see us (well maybe except for the cat 😉 ).

We have a Golden Retriever and a Pomchi. Golden’s are especially prone to have joint issues. When researching the breed, I found that when golden’s grow too quickly, the cartilage in their joints may not always attach correctly to their bones. As they get older, this may cause the ligaments to separate from the bone. You can help prevent joint issues by adding a dog joint supplement.

Dog Joint Supplement

In Spring 2012, Pet Research proudly introduced our first product, Wag Lifetime Joint Care. For the past two decades not much has changed among joint products available for dogs. That left the owner of a suffering dog with two dubious options: put your dog on an unsafe NSAID like Rimadyl or take your chances with superstore supplements lacking any scientific evidence to support their efficacy. Pet Research decided to create a third choice: Wag Lifetime Joint Care, the ultimate joint care supplement for dogs.

Lily is our golden retriever and offered to pose for this review. She was waiting patiently for me to give her a dose of Wag Lifetime Joint Care – Dog Joint Supplement.

Some supplements, Lily will take plain. This one she did require me to wrap in a piece of bread first. But then she gobbled it down without an issue. Such a good girl.

We love our pets so much too! They are definitely a part of our family and super spoiled! I don’t have any with joint issues but will keep this product in mind.

We have a lab and joint problems can be a concern so I worry about her as she gets older. I will have to check this out to help avoid future problems.

I had no idea there was such a thing! We don’t have any pets at the moment, but we are really considering a dog for Christmas! I’m going to have to remember this! 🙂

So glad people are thinking of their animals and trying to do everything they can to make them comfortable. Our animals do so much for us.

I have a friend who gives some type of medication to his pets for joints. I am glad it works because I don’t like seeing anyone human or animal in pain.
