Have you seen Captain America Civil War yet? Here are my first thoughts…
Captain America Civil War is now in theaters!
I was able to attend a pre-screening a couple days ago. I LOVED it! I’m ready to head back to the theaters and see it again this weekend.
In my honest opinion, I will say that Captain America Civil War is my new favorite of the Marvel movies. It has action, humor, character development and heartbreak. Yes, heartbreak! I was torn prior to seeing the movie. I didn’t want to pick sides. I didn’t want to choose between Cap and Iron Man.
I love Iron Man but if I was forced to choose prior to the movie, I would say I’m #TeamCap. After the movie? Well I’m still very torn and I still can’t choose sides. I’m probably even more on the fence than I was before the movie. I’d love to hear your thoughts after you’ve seen it. Did you choose sides before the movie and where are you now after the movie?
What makes it harder to choose sides is my love for the characters on each team.
I’m a HUGE fan of Falcon. I might be a little biased because I really love Anthony Mackie. Huge fan! 🙂
We get to see a lot more of Falcon in the film plus he has some cool new toys! Falcon was awesome! I also love the dynamics between Falcon and Ant Man. Some really great humor between the two.
Speaking of Ant Man, he’s a great addition to the movie and we get to see a fun new feature that is pretty exciting! No spoilers!
Now on the other side, we have two new additions on #TeamIronMan side. Black Panther and Spiderman. AH-MAZING!! I love them both! Both actors in these roles have just been perfectly cast.
We see a much younger Spiderman. Tony takes him under his wing and he joins #TeamIronMan. We don’t get to see Spidey a ton but he is amazing in the airport scene. So very awesome and I can’t wait to see more of him.
Black Panther was also so awesome. Love the introduction of his character. Loved him from beginning to end!
I’ve had so many more thoughts after I’ve had a chance to let the movie sink in and I’m sure I’ll have more after seeing it again. But for now, there are my first thoughts on Captain America Civil War. I’d love to hear yours. Let me know what you thought in the comments below.
