Since becoming a blogger myself, I try to get out from behind my own blog and discover other blogs that I like. There is so much information that is useful to me for my home, for raising my kids, for housekeeping…everything that we juggle on a day to day basis.

Here are four articles I read this week that I enjoyed, so I wanted to share them with you!

 

Meg over at Meg’s Moxie shares her tips on keeping your old winter coats looking great, including how she takes care of minor repairs without major sewing skills! That really comes in handy for a family like ours with 4 kids. The twins are always getting the hand me down coats. It saves a lot of money. Winter coats are not cheap!

Marianne over at Shopper’s Haul has a great resource for bloggers on her site! It’s the Shopper’s Haul plug in that will help you save both time and money! If you are a blogger, I would definitely recommend checking out this resource! This is one of my top recommended plugins.

Cristine from More 4 Mom’s Buck has a great review post on her site right now for three awesome board games to break out for game night fun! We love playing board games in our family, so I was excited to hear about these! Since we haven’t played these before, I am super excited for our next family game night, so we can try them out!

Layne over at Coupons with Q has a super simple two-ingredient do it yourself dishwasher detergent recipe! This recipe gets dishes clean without harsh chemicals and is very cost effective. I love finding DIY things like this. It really helps save on monthly expenses. I also just like trying different “recipes” for detergents, cleaning solutions, etc. I think it’s fun to make your own homemade cleaners.
