Easter Parade released on Blu-ray for the first time ever on 2/19!
There is nothing like the classics. Especially with movie stars like Fred Astaire and Judy Garland.
I love when they bring back the classics on DVD because then I can introduce them to my kids. I actually didn’t think my kids would like the “old” movies but they do. Well I’ll correct that…my girls do at least. 😉
My friend’s daughter was laid up over the weekend and asked for some movies to watch while she recuperated. I told her that I just had received Easter Parade and she was so excited. She said, yes of course bring that over! 🙂

When his long-time dance partner abandons him for the Ziegfeld Follies, Don Hewes decides to show who’s who what’s what by choosing any girl out of a chorus line and transforming her into a star. So he makes his choice and takes his chances. Of course, since Fred Astaire portrays Don and Judy Garland plays the chorine, we know we’re in for an entertainment sure thing.
