Poptropica Review

From a Kids Point of View
(Reviewed by my son Dylan – 13 years old)

Poptropica DS is a smaller version of the original on the computer. Unlike the computer version, it has minigames such as maze, race, catch, and more. The puzzles aren’t as puzzling on the computer but take a while to figure out simply because of the simplicity of it, such as jumping on rocks you think you wouldn’t be able to jump on which makes it hard to figure out if you have played the computer version.

It’s also good for road trips because of the minigames and puzzles that will take up most of your time, and you can do the minigames again earning more costumes sometimes. You can also change your outfit to anything anyone is wearing or costumes back in the museum.

Overall, I would recommend it. Poptropica is a fun game, however, I do think I prefer playing the game on the computer vs. the DS. Like I said though, this would be a great option for traveling or any time you’re away from the computer.
