Teach My Preschooler All-in-One Learning

I can’t believe Summer is over all ready and we’re getting back into the swing of teaching. My kids are still young and we don’t have school all day, just times scattered throughout the day for structured learning mixed with hands on learning. Over the past month, we’ve been working with Teach My Preschooler to get some of the structured learning.

My children are 3 and 4, so they are still young but curious and ready to learn. When I received the Teach My Preschooler kit, we opened it and let the kids take a peek. They each told me what they wanted to learn and now each day when we have our “school time” they each pick a subject and we work on it. It gives them the freedom to learn about what they want, but still gives me control over what they choose to learn about each day.

Teach My Preschooler is geared for children 3 and up.

There are four categories for learning included in the value pack, reading, printing, numbers and math. Each category has its own “packet” inside the carrying case. Each day my kids grab the carrying case, lay it on the carpet and then proceed to tell me which category they want to learn about. I love that they have this control and can tell me what they are interested in. My four year old can read the 10 books included in the reading packet, so he likes to practice his printing. Whereas my daughter likes to work on the reading packet so she can sound out the words on the flash cards. They both enjoy the math games and the counting train.

I took the kids to the Teach My website and they want me to get the Solar System add-on. Definitely going to look at doing that in the next few months.

Each packet takes approximately 20 minutes each day, so hardly any time at all but they are learning so much. Plus, they are eager to learn and it is easier to instill a love of learning at a young age than it is when they get older.
