Little Pim Educational App Review

Little Pim is an award-winning foreign language immersion learning system for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to learn a foreign language at home. Little Pim products are available in 10 languages: Spanish, English (ESL), French, Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Italian, and German, with more on the way.

The world is changing fast and many cultures are right here in the USA.  Little Pim believes all children deserve the chance to explore a second language at the age they learn best which is six months to six years. Learning a foreign language comes naturally for children when they start at an early age, a fact proven by scientific research.

“Little Pim is the brainchild of Julia Pimsleur Levine, an award-winning documentary filmmaker and mother. Julia was inspired by her own bilingual childhood; she learned French fluently by age six and is the daughter of Dr. Paul Pimsleur, who created the Pimsleur Method, the popular language learning program for adults.” -excerpt from site

In today’s day and age, technology is all around us.  What better way to stay current and learn at the same time than with Little Pim’s Educational App?!  Children are like sponges, soaking up lots of knowledge and information at any given time.  With the Little Pim app for iPad, iPhone and iPod devices, you can trust that they are learning and having fun on the go.  The app showcases nearly 60 basic and easy vocabulary words and phrases having to do with everyday things such as: eating, drinking, playing, sharing, sleeping and waking.  It is available in Spanish, Chinese and French.

I like anything that helps my kids learn. Especially a foreign language. That’s not something that I can easily teach them. So having this type of app that helps them learn another language is great. The app is colorful and engaging. All they do is tap on a picture and the app will give them the correct pronunciation of the word. Such a great way for kids to learn. Especially a foreign language where pronunciation is so important.

Check out Little Pim on  Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
