Yomega Yo-Yos
Yo-Yos are one thing that my kids love to do. All 4 of them love to try to do tricks and see what they can do with them. I’m always amazed at the awesome videos of the cool things I see people doing with Yo-Yos. I think that’s why my kids like them so much. They’d love to be able to do all those tricks too. Definitely takes a lot of skill… AND the right Yo-Yo!
Yomega sent us 3 different options to try out. 2 Yo-Yos and one other fun toy. Here’s a bit of info on each:
Yomega® Power Brain® XP
Yo to Pro Level: 2.0The first and only Yo-Yo that allows for two levels of play in one super advanced Yo-Yo. The secret is the patented Yomega Smart Switch™ that turns the clutch system on when you want auto-return features and off when you are looking switch to longer spin times and string tricks. Flip the Smart Switch to one setting and you have an auto-return Yo-Yo. Flip the Smart Switch to a different setting and it’s a manual return Yo-Yo. It really is like having two Yo-Yo’s in one!
Yomega® Nebula™
An amazing new all-purpose yo yo, the Nebula features bold rubber rims in the tradition of the best-selling Xodus II. Nebula has a unique body shape that fits comfortably in your hand, delivers great looping performance and is one of our coolest looking yo-yos ever. Players will want to collect all color combinations!
Yomega® Kendama
The Yomega® Kendama is a traditional skill game that challenges players’ hand/eye coordination. The Kendama is a fun-filled catch and toss game that requires patience, a steady hand, and some luck. A bright star ball is attached to the handle by a string tether, requiring the player to land the ball of various sized surfaces. A addicting skill toy game that is fun for anyone up to the challenge.
The kids love playing with all of them. I’d say the ones that are getting the most love are the Kendama and the Yomega Power Brain XP. The Kenama is a fun game of skill. My youngest son is surprisingly good at it. Maybe because he’s our baseball player and has good hand/eye coordination. I love that he’ll sit for a long time and play with the Kendama. Not much else keeps his attention for that long.
The kids also have been playing a lot with the Power Brain XP. I think because of the smart switch. They are definitely finding that a cool feature. They’ve been playing with all 3. I even find that my oldest packs one of the Yo-Yos in his back pack when we go places so that he has it with him to play. Very cool! 🙂
The Yomega selection gets thumbs up all around from our household!
