Celebrating Monkey Kingdom with a trip to the LA Zoo

As part of our Disneynature’s Monkey Kingdom and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON press trip, we spent some time taking a tour of the L.A. Zoo. Monkey Kingdom is in theatres April 17!!

I love visiting the zoo. There were so many fun animals to see. We got to spend the majority of our time watching the monkeys play and sing. What an incredible experience.

I love the Disneynature movies. I look forward to them coming out every April. This year it’s all about a group of Monkeys. One in particular – Maya. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet for Monkey Kingdom, make sure to take a look.

I took my new friend Maya with me on our visit to the LA Zoo. Isn’t she cute??!! You can get your own Maya or even kip in Disney stores.

Conservation International will:

1) Protect monkeys and other endangered species

2) Save and restore forest habitats

3) Partner with and support local communities

Further activities in Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Indonesia will include researching, rescuing and rehabilitating monkeys, patrolling protected areas which serve as important habitats for monkeys and other species, planting trees and supporting community education and forest-friendly jobs.

Siamangs at the L.A. Zoo

I could sit and watch Monkeys at the Zoo all day. The Siamang monkeys are not only great to watch but they have something else unique to them. Take a listen.

Go out and see Monkey Kingdom with the family!
