One month Weight Loss Report

December 17, 2014 by Dawn Filed Under: Weight Loss 2 Comments

Disclosure: I receive free product in order to evaluate and comment on my experiences on the Medifast Program. Medifast products and the Medifast Program are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or illness. Any medical improvements noted while on the program are related to weight loss in general, and not to Medifast products or programs.

We’re now one month out after Glastic Sleeve procedure. So here’s my one month weight loss report – I’ve lost a total of 28 lbs so far! Whew!

226

This last week I only lost 2 lbs. I was hoping to for more and to keep the momentum going but it’s still a loss. I think maybe my body is holding back a bit since the fast weight loss so far.

Physically, I’m still tired and have a real lack of energy. I saw the nutritionalist this week and she suggested getting a mew more ‘solid’ proteins in vs all of the liquids I’m currently getting. I’m trying some hard boiled eggs, ground chicken, tuna, etc.

My stomach still does better with liquid diet but I’m going to do my best getting in more solids to see if we can push past the low energy.

I’m still having at least 1 medifast ready-to-drink shake per day but instead of starting out my morning with it, I’m going to use it as a snack towards the end of the day. I’m hoping to ‘graduate’ up to some Medifast bars soon. The portability of Medifast meals are great and it’s going to be nice to be able to just throw one in my purse for those days that I’m on the go.

I also need to get in some measurements soon. I know that I’ve lost a lot of inches.

I’m ready to get out and start an exercise program but for now, my energy level just is not up for it. I see my Dr. tomorrow and will have my blood work done so maybe there’s something there too that will help.

Until next week!

UPDATE: Measurements

Here are my before surgery measurements:

Chest 42.5″
Waist 41″
Hips 52″
Thighs together 51″
Right thigh 29.5″
Left thigh 29″

Current measurements:

Chest 41″
Waist 40″
Hips 50″
Thighs together 48″
Right thigh 29″

So far I’ve lost a total of 7.5 inches!

Sounds like you are doing great! Could you possibly take a vitamin b complex or something for more energy? I have one that dissolves that I like to take (seems to help my brain fog some too!) I can’t wait to see your transformation pics! How exciting!!!! 🙂

I’m taking a b12 as part of my daily vitamin regime. Although I’ll admit that some days I forget to take them. In fact I’d better go take them. 😀 Thanks for the comment, Mandee!
