I’m having the Gastric Sleeve in 2 weeks!
Well this is it. I’m counting down the days until my Gastric Sleeve Procedure. It’s 2 weeks from today. I’m a little nervous and anxious. It’ll be here before I know it but yet still seems so far away.
Yesterday I saw my surgeon. We went over the risks and talked a bit more about what will happen. I’m not really nervous about the surgery so much, however, I don’t love the idea of anesthesia and all the fun things that go with.
And let’s get real here…I’m also not so much looking forward to a catheter. None of that sounds fun but it’s the process and everything will be fine.
This weekend I start the 10 day liquid diet prior to the Gastric Sleeve Surgery. I know it might be a little tough to get through but I’m very happy that I have Medifast products. Their ready to drink shakes are going to be a life saver for me.

I still have to take my measurements but publishing my weight is enough for the day. Whew! At least I know that I’ll never be that weight again. It is only going to go DOWN from here.
